Round 1 – Richmond V Heidelberg

A great first game from the Youth Girls on Sunday 23 April against Heidelberg. For many girls this was their first game and what a game it was! The scoreboard didn’t reflect the passion, determination and fearlessness of the game. The sun shone, the cheers were loud and so much was learned on this debut.

Round 2 – Richmond v St Marys

A fantastic second game at Kevin Bartlett Reserve on Sunday 20 April against St Marys. The girls worked hard and it was reflected on the scoreboard the second half of the match. This team is beginning to work together well and it was great to have the U15s join us in the second quarter. Well done!

A good team effort .

Round 3 – Richmond v Ashburton

A cold afternoon at Burwood Reserve, playing against Ashburton. 4 Goals kicked and some very tired bodies! Our U18 Girls show a lot of grit and determination and never give up. The improvement each week is fantastic and their attitude is one which we all admire. Well done girls!

Round 4 – Richmond v Whitehorse Colts

Another great effort by our U18 Girls at Kevin Bartlett against Whitehorse Colts for this Mothers Day Round. Our team is always impressive, determined and supportive of each other.

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL INDIGENOUS ROUND

Richmond v Fitzroy

A special Friday night match at Vic Park. We were up against a strong Fitzroy team, our never give up attitude was again on show. The game was followed by a Welcome to Country ceremony and presentation. The Indigenous Round Medal Winner for RJFC, for demonstrating in the strongest
way, the 5 attributes of, ENDURANCE, TENACITY, COURAGE, LOYALTY and PRIDE was Layla Fahour. Well done Layla!!
