Sunday summer squad is back
With everyone back at school and the holidays a distant memory, our popular Sunday Summer Squad has returned!
These sessions are open to all, and are a great way for mainly our younger players to either come and try footy or get back into some training in readiness for the 2023 season. Note that this is an optional session in addition to any specific pre-season training that teams may have already started (contact your coach or team manager for those details).
Summer Squad sessions will be held on Sundays at Alan Bain Reserve (opposite Richmond Primary School) from 4pm to 5pm, on the following dates:
- Sunday, 19 February,
- Sunday, 26 February,
- Sunday 5 March,
- Sunday 12 March,
- Sunday 19 March, and
- Sunday, 26 March.
Bring a drink, a hat, sunscreen and your runners (no footy boots needed). And feel free to bring a friend who may be interested in having a go at footy.
Please spread the word amongst your family and friends – we’re always looking for new players – and can only reinforce the wonderful opportunity this provides for the kids to mix and develop new friendships.
