Team Vic Australian Football Showcase

On Sunday 21 November, at the Trevor Barker Oval in Sandringham, School Sports Victoria conducted their Showcase Day for boys and girls selected to represent Victoria.

Two teams for each age group (12 and Under, and 15 and Under) were selected from earlier in the year, so this was the opportunity to see the best collection of Victorian school boys and girls play. In a normal year, they would have been able to participate in a national championships carnival against all the other states, however for obvious reasons, this wasn’t possible in 2021.

We are proud that two RJFC players were selected to play for Victoria on the Showcase Day, and both from the same talented Smith family.

Congratulations to both Jagga and Summa – and of course to proud parents Kimelle & Mick – on this outstanding achievement, and for both performing so well amongst the very best players in the country.
